JOB TITLE: Talent Agent

REPORTING TO: Manager

Purpose of the role:

The Talent Agent is responsible for growing a thriving digital creative staffing business by becoming a true

Talent agent, actively interviewing, networking with and representing great Talent to our clients.

The overall responsibility of the role will be to drive the growth of the permanent and freelance business

within the area of specialisation.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Your specific responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

Sales and Client Development:

• Achieve personal fee targets as set by Manager and yourself.

• Develop, implement and manage a detailed sales strategy for your portfolio.

• Implement diverse strategies for targeting and developing of new clients as well as tactics for

expanding the business within existing clients.

• Implement and manage key sales metrics – sales calls made, sales visits

• Regularly attend joint client meetings where appropriate in order to develop business

• Work to develop skills to overcome objections and position Aquent’s services.

Recruitment and Talent Management

• Maintain high level of appropriate recruiting activities through implementation of a recruitment

plan.

• Respond to web applicants in a timely and professional manner. (COB the following business day)

• Maintain high quality of placements by ensuring that recruitment process follows a prescribed

method emphasising detailed candidate screening, interviewing, reference checking etc

• Maintain an active Talent pool of high quality and appropriate quantity.

• Quickly identify shortages in specific skills sets and respond effectively.

• Ensure Agents follow SDAs pertaining to Talent management

• Ensure all Talent are pre-briefed for client interviews and post briefed after every interview.

Order Filling:

• Clearly follow standards and procedures for successful placements to ensure that orders are

qualified and drive the placement process

• Regularly monitor and improve recruitment activities including fill ratios, order-to-placement

rates and fees, GP/FTEs.

• Maintain sense of urgency through daily discussion of open orders and progress towards close.

• Address reasons and identify solutions behind unfilled orders, client satisfaction and Talent

satisfaction. (NPS scores above 60% with 30% response rate)

• Assess the volume, value and reason for credits/guarantees/orders cancelled ect.

Pricing:

• Work to a framework and guidelines for negotiating price.

• Develop skills on how to effectively negotiate fees, selling retained fees and exclusivity and to

position themselves as competitive.

• Maintain average GP/FTE $ value through appropriate pricing and targeting high level roles

• Research competitors fees, interview clients to ensure that pricing remains flexible, competitive

and profitable.

Monitoring and Tracking:

• Use a variety of resources (CloudWall, Salesforce) to monitor all aspects of your desk on a daily,

weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

• Regularly monitor the Aged Debtor report and working with Finance to ensure on time payment

of all invoices.

• On a weekly basis ensure that all fees and credits are processed and match Agent prediction

reports.

• On a monthly basis monitor Revenue, Gross Profit against your budget and make necessary

changes to ensure budgeted numbers are being met as a minimum.

• Ensure CW is utilised effectively and all activities are documented

• Develop a full understanding and documenting of QCC (Quality Check Clients) and QCT (Quality

Check Talent).

• Monitor and review feedback from key client appraisals and feedback and address any relevant

issues.
